IMS Finance is led by Per Arne Jensen; investor, entrepreneur, board member/chair and CEO with 30 years of industry experience.

Per Arne has been working primarily in international markets with strategy, internationalisation, technology, M&A, financing and growth. He has extensive experience from companies within technology, software, energy and industry; and from public organisations.

Per Arne has had responsibility for 40-45 M&A and financing transactions over a period of 20 years. He has been responsible for identifying and processing investment opportunities throughout the career in Private Equity, with a global responsibility and scope and focus on USA, Canada, UK, Scandinavia, and rest of Europe.

Per Arne has developed a substantial knowledge of companies globally within software, technology, energy, and in the energy transition space, in addition to a large network among investors, PE/VC fund managers, corporate finance advisors, transaction services, and law firms.

He has held near 20 Board member and Chair positions throughout the last 25 years, with approx. 20 year’s experience as Chair.

He has held CEO positions for 10 years, of which 8 years for Norwegian chinaware producer Figgjo, leading a turnaround and an expansion into 45 new countries.

Per Arne holds a MSc in Computer Science from NTNU and a MSc in Strategy & Finance from NHH in Norway.
